I recently read on this forum that the group of Giga-byte 7VRXP that are having problems have an E on the end of their lot # (which is on a sticker on the parallel port). I sent back my previous 7VRXP without hearing about this and I don't know what lot # it was, but I just received a second one which is the revision 1.1 that has an E at the end of the lot #. Should I just save myself the trouble of installing it and ask for a new motherboard? Are there any 7VRXP users here who have a lot # that ends with E and have no problems? Thanks.

anyone? I really don't want to take the time to build this if all of the lot numbers with E on the end are screwed up.

From what i've seen all the boards from lot e are bad. The ones that do run are usally with options turned down like agp 1x or 100mhz fsb. I'd just return it for a new board like the msi or epox.
