Is this true?

I was asking if the article was right in regard of TriM support under Raid volume but it is not as the Intel web site states...
 
The article is not right. Intel's new driver supports trim with controller in RAID mode but only for individual drives NOT in a RAID array. For drives part of a RAID volume there is still no TRIM.

For example you might have a single SSD as a OS/boot drive, and then have two hard disks in RAID 1 as a data drive. You need the board in RAID mode with a RAID driver loaded. The new Intel driver will allow TRIM commands to pass through to your SSD since it is not in the RAID volume.
