Is this true? Latino gangs in LA targetting blacks

I feel that this topic is appropriate in here.
Despite Bacas reputation and politics, there is a certain amount of truth in that it's known that the Crips and MS-13 are at each others throat over an alleged Crip informant turning evidence against MS-13. Other Latino groups wanting to gain favor with MS-13 could easily gain standing by whacking Crips. In some cases they might target any blacks associated with, or supporting Crips, even though they may not BE Crips themselves.
It's similar to what I see in Iraq with groups not actually associated with a particular organization, trying to gain favor by committing acts to please that other organization.

According to my local newspaper it's true...Not at all surprising to me...gang warfare is pretty "RAMPANT" (not ramipd) in Kahleeforneeya. Far too often, they kill innocent bystanders in drive-by shootings or just because they happen to be wearing the "wrong color" of shirt, shoes, or hat.
The US government needs to start treating gangs like the terrorists they are.

Some things never get old. Gangs are more violent this year than ever before. Just like last year, and the decade before, and the decade before. Hell, Able had to deal with the Cain Gang.

Maybe the nation's Blacks should, collectively, come out and oppose illegal immigration and mass legal immigration not just as a matter of economic self preservation but perhaps also as a matter of safety.
If we're having these kinds of problems, we only have ourselves to blame for it. I predict that the next president will do nothing substantial or even notable about illegal immigration and mass immigration, nor foreign work visas nor foreign outsourcing and that whoever gets elected will merely continue to help chaperone the nation to third world nationhood.

eh? The "war on drugs" is simply a label. That label doesnt allow for any extra anything we wouldnt already been doing...its not the Patriot Act where special circumstances are allowed the stripping of certain rights...the lable of "war on drugs" doesnt change anything we wouldnt already be doing.

I know you were being sarcastic, but there's SOME truth to what you said. I've always contended if border patrol and national guard posted at the border were given the authority to shoot to kill, I can almost guarantee illegal crossings would decrease. Fear of a .223 to the skull can be a great deterant.

Many gangs do not care who they target.
In the late 80's, some LA gangs were moving down into San Diego.
There was a dispute with an Asian gang; the Latino gang drove by the High School where a gang member attended and let loose with an automatic pistol from the street into the school grounds.
w/ my children being part Asian, I moved the family out the next week from California for their safety. Two were attending that particular school at the time.

Latino gangs are doing work most Americans won't do: shooting people based on race. It's hard work folks!
As noted; these Mexican gangs are simply doing work that lazy American gangs won't do. Are you willing to take a life for something as cheap as a verbal insult? Of course not.

I can't believe someone would go to all the trouble of buying a transferable machine gun for $3000-$10000, fill out the form 1, get it signed by their local police chief, wait the 6 months to get the transfer approved by the federal government, just to use it for a drive by shooting. Seems silly.

Why go through all the paperwork, when you can just steal the weapon.
Just like the equivalent of an M16 can be purchased and then converted via a kit.
Plenty of people that are willing to provided illegals weapons to the gangs
I saw this on the Gangland series on the History Channel. With Latinos making up 44% of L.A., blacks there are doomed. The Mexicans are having kids at an unimaginable rate. And they're crossing the border as fast as possible. Blacks don't have many children.

So are you saying they steal the guns from people... or they make their own guns? A quick look at ATF crime reports will show you that of the dozens of NFA registered fully automatic weapons stolen every year, exactly 0 of them are stolen from regular folks. They're all stolen from law enforcement. Regular folks tend to secure their $3000+ firearms.
As far as making their own illegal guns, I haven't seen many gang banger gunsmiths.
