Go, Liberal hate machine! Go!!!!!

Keep up your whining and you'll be speaking some language...but it won't be English.

Freedom isn't free, nor is it pretty. You like doing what you want, like posting this thread, right? Then STOP WHINING you pansy and realize that in order to make an omlet (i.e. your idyllic life here in the USA) you've got to break a few eggs.

The USA is no long immune from "world war." 911 ring a bell? We just must continue to kick ass and forget the names if we wish to continue to live freely.

Sign me up for another term.

not to turn this into a politics thread but 1000 american lives, and what has been achieved? freedom for the iraqis? where is osama? keep in mind that it is al qaeda and osama who bombed the tower, not saddam.

not exactly a kerry fan but bush is a pretty lousy president. does swift boat ring a bell? liberal hate machine? the fact is both parties are doing the same thing.

Honestly, if the allies had 10 to 1 casualty rate in world war II, it would have been touted as a miracle. When it is 10 to 1 now, it's a bloodbath.

The tank shells that use DU are some wicked things. The DU is basically just a barb on the end of it and serves to punch a hole through the armor plating so that the actual shell can hit inside and do more damage.

I think there is more to this than anyone here can say. There have been too many cases that can't be explained and of course the military is going to say that DU is fine since the number of cases is relatively small (and not proven to be DU) and it makes for some deadly weaponry.

How come there are so many level-headed people in here, but if you showed this to people in P&N 90% of them would accept it on the spot?

Hmm. Maybe the key to being level-headed is to stay out of P&N. :p

People will believe anything when it is sensationalized with hard rock music and dead babies.
See Michael Moore.

Apparently not. I haven't seen anyone post in this thread that they believe it. Good job trying to work in a pointless unrelated Michael Moore bash though.

Death Metal is even better. Like in that nonsense video about the Pentagon not being hit by a plane.

No, it's not true. I'm sure some is. It's like an ounce of truth turned into garbage.

The thing about the half life for instance. Nothing with a half life that long is posing danger to people now, consistently over 4.5 billion years. Radioactive fallout has varying "layers" of damage. The worst stuff is the stuff that hits you soon after the blast, for instance. Then as time goes on, although there's still stuff that has a long half life around, it doesn't much affect you, and this is why you can go back to an area that's suffered a nuclear blast much sooner than 4.5 billion years. It still may be radioactive, but it's not going to hurt you appreciably.
