My husband is out of work, so I told him when I get home from work tomorrow I want my house clean and my f****** dinner on the table~~!! I'm tired of supporting your ass and you better start pulling your weight around here or you are gonna find yourself on the street!

how long has he been out of work? does he find it unreasonable that you ask him to make dinner? did you say it exactly like you just did, or was it nicer, or dare i say... meaner?

I don't think it's too much to ask,I mean I should think he'd want to do it automatically.. you're partners right ?

That's not too much to ask provided: (1) your husband can cook, and (2) you asked nicely :)

Slap that bitch upside his head, and tell him to make sure he cleans the bathroom too. Oh, and make sure he knows your laundry better be done, pronto.

LOL! This is actually the first time in 14 years he has been laid off, he usually makes enough money that I don't even have to work. The only reason I have a job now is because he is out of work.

I just felt so tough saying it!:D

eh, i still feel it depends on the answers to the questions i initially posed. clearly, he should be doing these things without asking, at least i think so. but unless he did something like disagree or whatever, i think you may have been a little harsh, if what you said here is what you said to him.

That is exactly what I said to him! He knows I am just kidding, he doesn't have to be asked, he always helps around the house. He even makes sure everything is done early on sundays, just so I can sit down and watch football:D

And Girlfriday, my hubby has a message for you- FU HO!

myputer,

Make sure you keep him barefoot and dress him in a ratty, moth eaten pink bathrobe.

<Eric Cartman Mode> HEY!! You get your biatch ass back in that kitchen and make me some pie!! I would never let a woman kick my ass - if she tried anything I'd be like, "HEY! I will kick you in the NUTZ!". Hey! Missy!! Why don't you go knit me a sweater before I slap you in the face! </Eric Cartman Mode>

;)

Just kidding by the way, I don't reckon you're being unreasonable :)

lolz...omg... :)

give the guy a break, i mean, it's not easy dealing with a layoff.
i mean, dont overwhelm him at once with S**T to do. make it gradual, start off with just dinner, next week, maybe some cleaning, etc....

just my opinion, then again, i'am not married :Q
