Is this too much to ask of Adidas?

I bought a pair of Adidas cleats (~$100) about 5 weeks ago. Already, one of the cleats is falling apart beyond repair, and is basically destroyed. I emailed Adidas, and let them know exactly what happened. Once they follow up, is it too much to ask for a replacement pair that is better than my current (dead) pair?

It depends how hard you use them I guess, but you would have to be pretty rough to make it begin to fall off, you weren't that hard, were you?

No I wasn't hard on them at all. It's my left boot, anyways... I'm not even left footed, so I rarely kick lefty. Yet somehow they're falling apart. Would asking for a pair that costs ~$180-$200 be too much?

Yes. Be happy that they replace the current pair.
