Is this the weakest CPU review known to man?

I like the following comment:

Video-encoding test results, on the other hand, didn?t impress. It took seven minutes 22 seconds to convert two-and-a-half minutes of DV (digital video) footage into Mpeg-2 format ? 50 seconds slower than the Athlon XP 2600+ system. This may have been due to the lack of memory, but the different graphics card would have certainly affected this.

Sounds like the benchmark was monitor refresh rate limited and the reviewer didn't realize it.

People sure love trashing the Inquirer, and yeah, I pity anyone who goes to there to read those PC Advisor "reviews" of hardware.

However, though, I still think you can find some interesting articles about the actual industry there...



(But I should add; don't get me wrong -- that is definitely the weakest CPU review of all time! )
