Is this the weakest CPU review known to man?

I like the following comment:

Video-encoding test results, on the other hand, didn?t impress. It took seven minutes 22 seconds to convert two-and-a-half minutes of DV (digital video) footage into Mpeg-2 format ? 50 seconds slower than the Athlon XP 2600+ system. This may have been due to the lack of memory, but the different graphics card would have certainly affected this.

and this:

The 2800+ is intended to be a limited edition gaming processor ?

Shoot this guy now please

Did you also notice this:
The results of our graphics tests were very impressive ? the difference in the frame rates running the Annihilator demo of Quake III at the resolutions of 1,024x768 and 1,600x1,200 was less than a frame per second. The score of 90.2fps (frames per second) at 1,600x1,200 is just a few frames shy of the highest we?ve ever seen.
LOL... god man, you don't need to be using commas! This guy is a fruit cake.

Sounds like the benchmark was monitor refresh rate limited and the reviewer didn't realize it.

In order to test the 2700+ we set up a system similar to the one built around the Athlon XP 2600+ chip back in August. The only difference was that we only used 256MB of DDR (double data rate) RAM as opposed to 512MB and the graphics card was an ATI Radeon 9700 rather than a GeForce4 Ti 4600. The motherboard and chipset were exactly the same.

People sure love trashing the Inquirer, and yeah, I pity anyone who goes to there to read those PC Advisor "reviews" of hardware.

However, though, I still think you can find some interesting articles about the actual industry there...

(But I should add; don't get me wrong -- that is definitely the weakest CPU review of all time! :p)
