Is this the correct Crossfire Bridge??

I recently purchased an MSI HD4850 and it did not come with a crossfire bridge.

I just purchased a Diamond HD 4850 and it DID come with one.

I want to set up my computer to run crossfire but understand I need to use "TWO" crossfire bridges.

Since the MSI card did not come with one, I need to order one.

I found this one Crossfire Bridge at newegg.com.

MY question is, WILL this one work? Are they all the same?

if not, where can I get one that will work?

Crossfire is fine with one bridge. However, if you want to buy another bridge the one you linked will be fine.

Wait, then why then would you (ever) need 2 bridges? Is there a performance boost with the extra inter card bandwidth, or is the second bridge redundant?

The second bridge is probably for a third card. CrossfireX I believe they call it.

Yes, I am aware of this. But in a 2 card configuration, will the second bridge make any difference?
