Is this system any good?

I'm thinking of buying a gaming system. The specs are:

Antec tower, 7 fans total, 1 120mm cpu fan, 5 120mm cooling and exaust fans, and on HUGE 210mm for cooling.
Intel core 2 duo E6850 3.00 GHz
4 GB DDR2 RAM
300 GB HDD
Nvidia 8800 GTS 512 MB (the expencive one)
DVDRW/CDRW/dual layer
keyboard : ZBOARD steelseries w/ gaming keyset and standard keyset
wireless microsoft invisible lazer mouse
18 usb 2.0 ports (includes monitor, keyboard)
motherboard is sata 2.0

The guy is asking 400 bucks. If anyone with experience has an opinion on whether this is worth the money, I'd be grateful for the help.

Welcome to AnandTech Forums. Two things:

1. I had to lock your first thread because we do not allow price checks like yours. In the past, people have used such posts to try to get around our rule against posting auction style offers on our For Sale/Trade forum.

2. You need more information about the hardware you list. Which Antec case, which motherboard, etc. is included? Once you know, you can check our For Sale/Trade forum, other trading forums and search Google and ebay to see what the board is worth.
