A couple years ago, a friend told me a story about a mother and daughter driving on the freeway when suddenly a wrench (or some other metal object) on the freeway ricocheted through their windshield and impaled the daughter through the shoulder. Supposedly, they didn't realize that the girl was impaled until they got home . . .

Or something like that . . . anybody heard this story? True? Possible?
