Married male with 2 kids visits long time female friend while in town on business. Male stays over at the friend's place and they sleep in the same bed. No sex was involved.

The female is telling me that this is perfectly normal and I'm weird for thinking it is strange. So I turn to ATOT for others' opinions.

so whats supposed to be strange...that she didn't have another bed for you to sleep in? or that nothing happened when u slept in the same bed? both are to me...

I'm not the guy in question in the OP but a similar situation is what brought this up.

the woman and I visited mutual friends a few weeks ago and when we arrived, the host said "there's your bed" (just one for both of us). I thought that was odd since they knew we weren't together or anything. So I slept on the floor and gave her the bed. She thought that was weird and told me about the situation in the OP as an example.

No its not acceptable to sleep in any (non-related) womans bed overnight without some penis-vagina (or penis -mouth, -butt, -nostril -whatever) penetration.

This thread pissed me off. Who the hell does that lady think she is?

That guy totally cheated on his wife and gave his "friend" the shocker repeatedly. Why do people w/ children always do this?

its pretty weird...but i gotta hand it to the guy in the OP. It shows how much he is commited to his wife and kids to sleep in the same bed as another woman and not make a move
