I got an email asking me to confirm my info for a Dell Extended Service plan which I ordered. However, the site doesn't look Dell to me. Anyone?

Nope

I put in a fake order number and got this:

Our records indicate that all contracts on this order have been registered. If you have not registered your contracts and need further assistance call us at: 1(866)497-2661.

So now that we all agree it's fake, where do they get the info from that I recently ordered a Extended Service plan from Dell?

Did that. Some girl in India told me that I have to call back on Monday.

by looking at the URL, i am inclined to say no. are dell urls usually something like http://*****.dell.com? the url in question has it backwards, which leads me to believe someone is trying to scam ppl. just my two cents.

Seriously - let's use the brain matter that's located in your head, just for a second:

The Domain Name: servicecontactregistration.com - seems fishy for a company called Dell, huh?
Does it look like the rest of dell's websites? - Maybe if you were blind, but for the rest of us, no.

I could go on as there are many other glaringly fishy things about website, but please use some common sense. With all of the scams that go around, how could you not think this was one of them? At least the Ebay scammers use the ebay design, this looks like it was designed by some 12 year old boy scout wanting to earn a technology badge in a hurry.
