I want to build a car pc and I want to get a 35W mobile XP (the most overclockable one, does anyone know) and a decent mATX mobo its between this ASRock and this
Chaintech. The ASrock is about $5 cheaper and has multiplier control. The Chaintech doesn't. I just am a little worried about that Sis 741 Chipset...anyone know anything about it?

I've built three systems with the K7S41GX motherboard (similar to the K7S41, except without 400mhz FSB support). I really like the boards, they are fast and stable. The only "problem" I can think of is the lack of features (only two PCI slots, no SATA, etc.) but what can you expect from a $50 motherboard.

do you really need all that power in a car pc? what would you be using it for?

im looking at a mini-itx install for my car.... anything else seems a little overboard but i guess it all depends on what you have in mind for it.

well its a $$$ issue I alreadly have everything except a mATX mobo, alot cheaper than buying a VIA EPIA mobo, which I still may do if this setup doesn't work...
