this is a general question.

I have a hard drive and cd rom drive that I want plugged into my mobo. The only problem is that this mobo has only one IDE slot. so there's only a primary IDE with NO secondary IDE. So what i'm asking is, can I put both the HD and CD rom on one IDE?

i dont think so, but you can just grab a pci IDE card that adds IDE slots to your pc.
