Is this right?

[Sep 18 22:43:11 UTC] Automatic processor detection found 1 processor.
[Sep 18 22:43:11 UTC] Loaded OGR stub 25/10-15-24-11-5-1 (42.30% done)
[Sep 18 22:43:11 UTC] 22 OGR packets (22 work units) remain in buff-in.ogr
[Sep 18 22:43:11 UTC] 0 OGR packets (0 work units) are in buff-out.ogr
[Sep 18 22:43:11 UTC] 1 cruncher has been started.
.....10%.....20%.....30%.....40%R

Shouldn't I be cracking RC5 not OGR?

change your dnetc.ini file and add the following:

[misc]
project-priority=RC5,DES=0,CSC=0,OGR=0

You may want to restart your client at this point...🙂

If it is still crunching OGR when you restart, go to your Distributed.net, delete your buff-in file and re-fetch from the client drop down menu..🙂

jeeze, i wonder how many blocks we lose to this simple problem?

we should make pre-configured versions for TA newbies, one for always connected computers, one for barely ever connected, etc, and all the person has to do is fire it up, plug in an email address and wham, cracking away.

Train,

I think that is an outstanding idea! 😀😀😀

P.S. Just don't let Russ head this project as somehow, the e-mail ID may be pre-configured😉..

<< we should make pre-configured versions for TA newbies, one for always connected computers, one for barely ever connected >>

Already did that.🙂 Even wrote the batch file to install it, and start it up.

Russ,

Where are they? Does Paulson have links for them? No Default E-mail, eh? 😉

Thanks

😀😀😀

(I think this would solve many problems....Also, you could have one for the team pproxy, one straight to D.net....Thanks again guys!)😀😀😀

I "lost" a bunch. I check my stats maybe once every 10 days, and didn't realize OGR had started! And becuase I got lazy, I didn't bother to change the project-priority in the .ini when I installed the latest client. I do about 1000 blocks a day, so it was close to 10,000 blocks! Ouch!

Engineer,

HeHe, of course they have a default eMail in them.🙂 But, I did customize a couple of them for other people. I suppose I could write a batch file that takes them to the configuration screen to enter the eMail, and still have all the other ini entries already done.

I believe it was fandu... possibly wrong, that made a batch file awhile back that had the client configured, installed it in /program files/distributed.net, and popped up a dialog box asking your email address. Worked slicker than... well you get the point.
