So I put my new rig together two days ago...and when I started it, I noticed that the CPU speed read 500Mhz instead of the Athlon XP-m2400;s 1800Mhz...so I started to look around in the BIOS and saw that the multiplier and clock were set to 5x100=500Mhz...so I fixed that to the stock speeds (133x13.5=1800Mhz)...problem fixed...

Now...since the processor numbres got all screwed up...is it possible that other stuff like the Memory and AGP config and others got messed up as well?

Full System Spec:

- Antec PerformancePlus II SX1040BII Case
- Antec Smartpower 400W PSU
- Abit NF7-S V2.0
- Athlon XP Mobile 35W 2400+
- Gigabyte nVidia GeForce 6800
- Kingmax 512Mb PC3500 RAM
- Thermalright SI-97
- Pananflo High Speed Fan
- 4 Case Fans (2 intake, 2 exhaust)
- Western Digital 5400RPM 40GB
- Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 80GB
- NEC DVD-RW ND3500AG

Here's a pic with everything that CPU-Z has to say...is everything in place???

Temps are:

- Day Ambient Temp: 32~34'C
- Night Ambient Temp: 26~28'C
- CPU Idle Temp: ~39'C
- CPU after 2 hours of playing Joint Operation: Thyphoonn Rising, 1027x768 everything HIGH ~41'C

Any comments on these settings and temps????

Oh also ... how can I see if my GeForce has the 12 standrad piplines enabled? I read the first shipment had only 8, and you had to d/l an update. What;s a good ute to o/c this card?

Thanks

Are you having any specific problems? Everything seems to look normal in CPU-Z, and your temps are good. It probably didn't detect your CPU correctly when you first started it up since it's a mobile chip, thats normal.
