There is site called cyberwizardpit and they are selling 75k itty bitty patches that are essentially MTU type patches that they claim revolutionizes net transfers. Anyone heard of these guys or are they just milking $20 from people that don't know better.

The funny thing is that if you read the forums, every messages sounds the same. It's as if forum admins are talking to themself.

Hmmm, 20 bucks for a reg. tweak that can prob. be found somewhere for free off the net from a more reaible source. It's most likely a patch that has all of the current tweaks than you can find on sites like Speedguide.net. So I suggest saving your 20 bucks and going to speedguide for some tweaks for the internet.

Just my thoughts...maybe someone has used this type of service before and it worked.

No, not really. Think of it as <insert favorite Linux distro here> selling their Distro in a boxed set, but also being downloadable. Both are legal; you just get something more with the boxed set(albeit with a Linux distro, it's probably more than what you'll get with this:eek:).

PS This is assuming they wrote their own MTU patch, BTW
