Is this really street legal.

My friend wants to install green head lights onto his car. I don't think they are legal but he showed me the auction and it says they are street legal. So are green head lights really street legal. This is california.

California Highway Patrol:

Blue and yellow headlights. Headlights must be white - blue and yellow are illegal (24011 VC). Look for the DOT symbol on the bulb and package.

I would ask for a picture of the DOT marking on the bulb itself before bidding. Or if he really wants these lights, get them and if there's no DOT marking, file a dispute with Fleabay.

my headlight are yellow and it's legal.
