Is this really street legal.

Tell your friend to go ahead and do it. Then inform me of where that ricer son-of-a-bitch lives.

California Highway Patrol:
Blue and yellow headlights. Headlights must be white - blue and yellow are illegal (24011 VC). Look for the DOT symbol on the bulb and package.
I would ask for a picture of the DOT marking on the bulb itself before bidding. Or if he really wants these lights, get them and if there's no DOT marking, file a dispute with Fleabay.

Not a snowball's chance in hell those are legal!!

There is not a snowball's chance in hell that they look that bright and green. Fleabay is the worst place to buy "xenon" bulbs.

Auctions like these should be taken down then for posting false information.

Yes, because the eBay moderators are all lawyers who happen to know the state laws of every state.

the auction is kind of misleading. They are a DOT approved design, but you won't get away with that color anywhere.

It does say 100% street legal in the auction

· 100% Street Legal in ALL 50 U.S. States!

if they're not, then get your friend to buy them, fit him to his car, then when he gets done by the police sue the guy on eBay for all costs & refund of goods for false advertising.

those are about as legal as riding a motorcycle naked.

you are allowed to be naked in your car

I'm not sure if it applies to motorcycles as well but it might
