Uses two channel sets to double the effective bandwidth. Understand that you won't get 54 Mbps throughput with standard 802.11g hardware, and you won't get 108 Mb's with the Atheros turbo mode. Based on my experience with the Proxim .11a Atheros AP's you won't even get double, but it will improve the available bandwidth, in some cases significantly. The problem you'll face with 2.4 Ghz gear using multiple non-overlapping channels is an increase in the interference quotient, as your using much more of the available spectrum. So if you have some neighbors with 802.11 b or g AP's, or 2.4 phones etc.. the probability you'll run into some interference trouble is greater.
