Ask Home Depot about the sad millennials they have to educate on simple house maintenance tasks.

Why memorize something when you can google it?

That's hilarious.

Funny enough though, my dad is not handy at all. My mom does everything around the house and everything more involved goes to me. I honestly don't know where I learned how to do stuff since nobody really thought me. It just kind of came natural for me I guess. My parents have always hired people to do even simple tasks while I do all my own stuff around my house.

My father /tried/ a lot of stuff, but he didn't have a good grasp of the physical world. I'd run across one of his repairs, and just shake my head. He tried though, and I guess that counts for something. I'm pretty much self taught, and my work shows it :^D My stuff usually works, but it isn't pretty.
