Is this RAM good for OC'ing?

THESE sticks, I have an M2N-SLi mobo and AM2 X2 4200+, no high-end vid-card for me, so was wondering if I can get some good speed out of these sticks.
 
Those should be fine....but you might need a bios update for them to boot. Asus has made quite a mess of the bios in regards to ram modules that do not have Micron IC's. The boards all seem tuned to Micron which gets in the way of other IC's booting and running as they should.
 
well I just tried them in my mobo and they wouldn't boot, I am using my spare Mushkin 512MB ram. I upgraded the bios now so lets see if it works.
 
Make sure its the 0603 and there will be a newer one come Friday probably.

When your done flashing....go into the bios and load the setup defaults, save and exit, then reboot and set everything up like you normally would.
 
the latest on ASUS.com shows 0304 dated 06/15/06. I have the M2N-SLi and not the deluxe one with wifi. Can you link me to the 0603?
Edit: Seems the 0603 is for the M2N32-SLi, I have the M2N-SLi.
