I know it's not in the AMD approved list, but anyway.....

It's a 250Watt AOpen(Included in LX-45 Case) it states AMD & ATX 2.03 Approved. This is the same PSU as Sparkle and Fortron/source. But is this enough for an AMD 1,2GHz/200MHz bus, 1 5400rpm HDD, 1 burner, 1 CD-ROM, ATI radeon 64Mb DDR vivo and some other cards......

If you already have the psu, try it, the worst would be boot/stability issues. If you have problems, disconnect the burner and anything else above a minimalist system. Underclock it if necessary, just for testing. If the problems disappear, you need a beefier psu.

you don't want to CRAP out on a power supply because it could CRAP out on you. No I am not CRAPPING on your thread, just trying to help 🙂. Go with a 300 or 350 or ifin you gotten the moneyz go with an Enermax PSU above 300. they is good.

Maybe check the "my rigs" link? You'll see that I already have an Enermax EG-651PVE, 550Watt PSU which should be enough 😛

But I'm building a computer for a friend and have this LX-45 Case and this 250Watt PSU just laying here and was wondering if I could just use them instead of buying a new one........

These are the specs of my Generic 250W PSU:
+3.3V +5V +12V -5V -12V 5+VSB
11A 18A 8.5A 0.5A 0.5A 1A

Is it good enough to power my rig? It runs good anyway.

Well I found the specs:

..........FSP25060GTA(250Watt)........FSP30060BT(300Watt)

+3,3V:....16A.........................14A
+5V:......25A.........................30A
+3,3/5V:..Max 150 Watt................Max 150 Watt
+12V:.....13A.........................11A
-5V:......0,3A........................0,3A
-12V:.....0,8A........................0,8A
+5Vsb:....2,0A........................2,0A
Both is ATX 2.03

Yep, looks like I should be safe with my 250Watt.....It's even better that its big brother at some points....

my 235w Sparkle runs my Tbird 850, hdd, floppy, cdrom, zip drive, burner, extra case fan, modem, NIC, soundcard, V3 3k, and internal case lighting all fine 🙂
