My new rig will be:
i3-2130
MSI H67MA-E35 B3 (or similar mATX mobo with USB3)
2 x 2GB Corsair XMS3 1333
1 x SSD
1 x Caviar blue HDD
2 x 92mm "silent" case fans
1 x DVD-RW
1 x Creative Audigy PCI Express card
1 x Sapphire HD6670 Ultimate Passive
1 x Corsair CX400W (original Seasonic version)
I have the CX400W in my current rig but my boss is buying my chip, mobo and RAM as a cheap upgrade for his PC but he's keeping his PSU. I have chosen that card because I rarely game so a quiet machine is more important to me than ultimate performance.
It does state in the system requirements on the Sapphire website a 400w PSU is required, but on other mfgs of the a 6670 it says they require a 450w PSU. I have used various online PSU calculators but the results are too varied to come to an accurate conclusion so I was hoping for someone with more knowledge than me in this field to tell me if I'm going to be OK or not.
Cheers
