Is this possible?

Why not just use the debit card? Last I checked you could link PayPal accounts to credit cards, so I assume you could link it to a debit card as well.

 
It should be, i have my paypal account linked to my checking account. And that is also how my dad gives me money monthly, he pays from a CC to my paypal account, which i then transfer to my checking account. You have to go through a verification process to link they accounts, but it can be done.

What is it that you want to buy online? If it's on eBay or something you can probably just send a money order to the seller. If it's not from eBay or a similar site, then you can just use the debit card right out.
