Heres the question.....

Me and a friend of mine have photobucket accounts. He took a couple pictures for me and has them in his account. Is there any way he can move the pics from his account to mine?

- please dont suggest the following -

1. email - the pics are rather large and we dont want to send them that way
2. regular mail - dont feel like buring them to dvd and shipping them x country
3. in person - cant...he lives too far away
4. aim - he doesnt have it

the photos are already uploaded on photobucket and are in folders.....so is there any easy way to transfer them?

well, there are a lot of pictures so it would be a little time consuming that way.

is that the only way?

Unless photobucket allows you to add the pics to a "cart" of sorts for zipping...probably.

How big are the pictures? How big would a zip file be that he can't email it to you?

You can upload up to 20 pictures at a time on photobucket from your pc.
You could always just use his links instead of uploading them to your myspace.
I think you can go pro ($25 a year) for FTP support, but I am not sure that would help.

Can't you just use the "upload via web url" method? It might be a little time consuming to paste in all of the links to your friend's photos, but you won't have to wait as long for the "download to your PC/upload back to photobucket" process.

That's the way to do it.
If you have any problems, PM PAB, he is the King of saving and uploading to his account 😉
