Is this possible

I have a domain that I want to use. I have a hosting account already and setup the domain with the hosting account.
So right now, www.blahblah.com redirects to a website.

I'd like to add a different hosting company's DNS servers to the domain so I can have w2.blahblah.com redirect to an ip address (using Zoneedit)

Can that be done?

If you're using zoneedit, you wouldn't be able to use a different company's DNS. All of your dns should go to zoneedit, and then using that you can decide which portion of the site goes to what IP.

How about emails? Can I somehow make zoneedit let my hosting company handle emails?

You create MX records in their control panel that point to your host's mail servers.
