I was wondering if this is possible in XP:

1. User creates a file and puts it in his root directory.
2. As soon as this occurs, Windows XP automatically duplicates the file and copies the file over to a Windows share.

any suggestions or tutorials?

Synchronize the folder with the server, done.

Save the file to the server (move "my documents" to a server location for instance)
Turn on offline files and folders.

Should do what you want I think.


If you want to actually mirror a local disk with a network disk you'll need iSCSI.
