My friend lives down the hall and we want to share the same internet connection. Only there's a lot of interference and his line keeps getting dropped. I heard if he picked up a wireless access point and tagged it to my network, it'd act like a repeater and the connection would be stable.
i'm broadcasting with a linksys router right now. he already has an apple airport base. that qualifies as a wireless access point, right? if so, how do i tag his airport base to my router? i tried, but couldn't figure it out. meh, i guess networking just isn't my strong point.
