Is this possible? Probably not, but if yes, how?

Is there any way I can pull off the vocals from songs? There are couple of songs that I like but I hate the performer's voice, so I rather listen to it and sing myself....

So basically, anyway I can seperate vocals and music in a song?

Thanks.

I worked with a musician at a office during hs. He gave me 3 metallica albums i requested and separated the drum beat so I can practice the songs with out Lars butting in. I never asked him how he did it, but it was pretty damn sweet. He even took out some lyrics for the songs

darn, so it's possible but we don't know how 🙂

i downloaded a music editing app, Sony Soundforge 7.0, it's got 30 day trial, so someone please be quick and find a solution 😛

all you need to find is find the acapella version and subtract that from the full version to give you the music only version.

full = music + voice
full - voice = music
