Here

Saw this on sale over here.
Going at approximately 4k USD after currency conversion.

Is it any good? I'm thinking of getting it, but I've got no idea

Most importantly, would my xbox games and dvds actually look decent on this?

Quite expensive for that panel (at least considering US prices). It's probably identical to the Gateway high brightness 42".

What other options do you have? Where are you?

I'm sorry, but I wouldn't blow 4 grand on a TV that I know will decrease in brightness/quality as time progresses... just one of the flaws with plasma.

Another misinformed guy on plasma.

Plasma will take about 5yrs to degrade and is with about 6-8hrs A DAY OF VIEWING.

I would get a 6 series Panasonic for the Plasma as they are great. Games look great on it but just not from 3ft away like a normal tv. Be back a good 8-10ft depending on how sharp your eye sight is so you don't see the pixels. Remember a good soucre goes a long way to having a good picture.

Crapin Crap out on ANY DISPLAY.

Me I prefer Plasma to RPTV as I can't stand the display looking out of whacked from different angles and the colour consistency. And having the rooms in England are not big enough!

Ah, so you won't own any 4 grand TV at all, eh?
