The tape starts out silver and turns black. Or is that just a wierd shadow?

well, I don't think the tape is silver per se; I think that is the sunlight reflecting off it, giving it a lighter sheen. Can't tell ya whether it's real or not.

The tape is black and the reflective light makes it appear shiny, or silverish. I would really wish people would be able to clue in on this. Remember that thread about the speaker stands? The pic looks real to me, but it's hard to say; the quality is terrible.
