Is this OC safe?

I'm running 250x10. I accidently scratched off a bit of thermal grease when I was installing the heatsink. VCore is about 1.495, something like that. I ran Prime95 overnight yesterday for ~6 hours, but when I came to check on it this morning, I found out that Windows had restarted itself. It might have been because I was installing Windows updates, and it wanted to restart... MBM5 reports temps at ~38C when the computer first boots up, and ~49C when running Prime95, Firefox, and Trillian. Should I increase the VCore? Or is it too high? What's the lowest I can get the VCore while still staying at this speed stably?

Sounds like you are doing fine. If you get random reboots, that would be bad sign - how is your memory doing? You should try running memtest86 off of a floppy to see how it is doing.

My memory is at 208Mhz with 2.7V. It's Corsair VS, so I'm not going to OC it that much. 210 with 2.85V seemed to be the fastest it could go stably.

I didn't scratch off too much. Is 49C under load okay for a Venice? Prime95 has been running for ~3 hours this morning w/o any errors.
