Is this normal?

I have a LightScribe DVD SuperMulti Drive/Cd Writer.. I got a pack of DVD-Rs today and when i insert a blank DVD and open Nero, it acts like its a CD-R, gives me 800 mb.. And when i go to My Computer, it says 0 free bytes.. What the?

Did you select the dvd burner instead of cd burner under the drop down list?

When i clicked the drop down list, there was only 1 choice..

Under the "Which recorder would you like to use" will list 2 options for your lightscribe dvd burner (as well as any) To the right will have cd-r/cd-rw or DVD... select DVD
