Is this normal?

I just got me eVGA 7800 GT from new egg, and the barcode sticker is on the card. It is stuck in the middle of the card, I havent tried to take it off yet. I'm just wondering if this is normal.

I've seen barcode stickers on the back of cards before, it shouldn't be a problem. The best thing to do would be not to remove it anyway, cause they could think you messed with it, just in case there is a problem.

Ok, I guess I'll just leave it on and make sure the card works ok. I just dont understand why they would put the sticker on the card. I guess if it doesnt harm the card its no big deal, thanks for the info, I was kinda worried.

yep normal

all cards have them, usually that, a revision number sticker and another number...possibly serial number?

my 9500pro has a sticker telling me what it is, memory type and size, bus width etc
