I'm really clueless about gardening shit and junk... but I'm trying to take more of an interest in my urban patch of grass this year beyond just mowing the grass as needed.

so, I was cutting back the branches from my neighbors trees (or whatever... I assume these are trees?) and I noticed that the branches were kinda crazily wrapping around eachother. is this normal? I don't think I've ever seen this before.

the roots are on my neighbors property, so I just indiscriminately cut back anything in my airspace, but I'm still kinda curious about it.

One of the most interesting documentaries I've ever seen is a series called the Secret Life of Plants by David Attenborough.

Does anyone else think it's weird that vines seem intelligent, and always seem to find something to climb on?

If you watch the documentary UglyCasanova mentioned, you'll look at plants in an entirely new light. I'll say plants are more fascinating than most animals.
