Is this normal for analog LCD monitors?

For example...the blue coloured titles of the threads in this forum on the light blue backgroung are not exactly dark blue on light blue.....but: in the transition between the dark blue of the letter and the light blue of the background there's a whitish colour. This is only at the right of the letter i think.

This doesn't happen for example for the icon text on the desktop for example.

Is it normal?

for example: in your signature..there's black text on blue backround. Around the pixels for each black letter there's a few white pixels..instead of blue ones
