Is this normal during defrag?

This morning I tried defragging in safe mode. I was in the room for the first 45 minutes or so. At that point, everything was going fine and it was at 26% complete. I left the room for 15-20 minutes, and when I came back it was complete. It also said that there were files that could not be moved. I looked at the report for these files. They were all games or videos. Is this normal? This is the first time I've seen this happen after many defrags. I also don't see how it finished the remaining portion of the defrag that fast, since it took 45 minutes just to do the first 26%. Any idea what I should do? Is this normal? Am I defragged or not?

I can also post the defrag report if it will help. Just let me know. Thanks in advance.

If you don't have AT LEAST as much free space on the hard drive as the size of the video files, then Disk Defragmenter will not be able to move them. If this is the case, particularly if you have a lot of large video files that could not be moved, then yes, the results you got are perfectly normal.

Also, some video files, and files registered as 'critical system files' by games and other applications, cannot be moved regardless of their size. These files will usually show up in green in the Disk Defragmenter progress window and will be skipped by the defrag process.

well, the video files total about 9gb. I have about 15gb of free space. So, does this mean everything else was defragged, just not the games and videos?
