Just wondering if my CPU temps are normal for this board.
Using MBM5. HSF = Volcano2 using high flow Sunon 60x60x25 fan.
MB temp = 34C
CPU temp = 48C
DURON 750 not OC'd

As far as I can tell, my CPU temps are almost always 14C above MB using MBM5.

On another one that I built using MSI K7T Turbo (same HSF and fan) the temps are quite a bit lower. by about 5C. Is it just inherit in the Asus board that the temps are higher because of sensor placement?

How can I reduce temps?

I have sanyo denki and sunon fans (1 of each) as case fans. What more else can I do??

Is your CPU overclocked and did you increase the voltage? Anyhow, I also have an Asus A7V133 (1.85Volts) with a TBIRD 900@1000 using a Volcano II themaltake. The motherboard temp is at 28C and my CPU is at 49C when running RC5. Your temp sounds fine.

I'm running a GlobalWin CAK-38 on a AV7133 with a 1.333 t-bird and I'm hitting around 44c normal load and 50c at full load... So i think all is well for you.
