Is this nasty or am I overreacting?

So, I was at Kroger (a grocery store) the other day.

I went in the restroom to wash my hands.

While I was in there, an employee was cleaning up the stall. I saw him walk out of the stall with a few magazines. As I left the restroom, I overheard him ask another employee what he should do with the magazines. She told him to put them back on the shelf.

I followed the guy and, sure enough, he put the toilet magazines back in with all of the other new magazines.

I told the manager about it. He didn't seem to care a whole lot about it.

So, blech or not blech? Poll for fun.

I think the bolded area is the funniest part of the post. But yes, I agree that is mildly disgusting.

Bathroom magazines shouldn't leave the bathroom. Going back on the shelf is just totally wrong.

That's pretty disgusting though.

Meh, I guess, but if no one knows, then they'll won't experience the gross factor, eh? ;)

LOL Excellent investigative work! It would bother me that totally new magazines were used in the bathroom for some reason.

I bet 99% of the books at Half Price Books are toilet books.

Eh.. didn't some study show the average keyboard is dirtier than the average head seat? It's one of those things I'd prefer not to think about... it may help that I don't see any need for magazines though, and buy my books online.

I'm sorry, those magazines are flagged

I see nothing wrong with this at all. Germ paranoia and OCD is more of a disease than anything on those magazines.

Most likely store employees, not customers.

Not a big deal. Anything that might have been harmful won't live long on a magazine page anyhow. It's more the thought of it is gross than it is any real hazard to anyone.

Well they didn't let George return the book after it had been flagged, and if it was in seinfeld, then it must be correct. :p
