Yeah, the reason is that its ENTERTAINING.

That is the same reason micheal moores films are the #1 documentaries of all time.

I just watch PBS for news now. Compare the level of discussion on Charlie Rose to any of the news networks. Letting guests speak, without having to yell on top of each other in 30 second sessions. What a concept. Saved myself $30 month on cable TV too. Thank Go(d/vernment) for public television.
