Although Asus has an excellent reputation, the board you have is pretty old. At least three years since it was even a second- line product. For computers, that is FOREVER. However, old AMD XP's to fit it are a dime a dozen all around the world, so why you think there is a problem about getting one is beyond me.
No one expects to play games with hardware that is almost four years old, unless the games involved are equally old. Generally, integrated video amounts to pretty much the same way behind the technology curve situation. The GF3 series from nVidia is definitely three-plus years old, and that is the foundation for the MX 4xxx graphics engine that is about the best of all the integrated video options.
Integrated video is useful for surfing the web, and doing word processing, lots of things that computers are good for. And there are boatloads of MB's around with built-in video; mostly on microATX size boards these days, though.
