:disgust: Here is my dilemma. I put together a system w/ an epox 8kha+, crucial 256mb pc2100, and a duron 900, among other things. My problem is that whenever I boot up, the screen tells me the bios version, my cpu clock speed, dram type, and says "press DEL to enter setup" However, it will not enter setup when I press del and I have tried w/ 2 different ps2 keyboards and a usb keyboard. I thought that the ports must be bad when I discovered for some bizzare reaason that the system can be coaxed into the setup by messing w/ the power button (by tapping it instead of pressing and holding it to turn it off!) When I got into setup, I configured the drives and everything including boot from floppy so I could format my new hard drive, but when I reboot, it just hangs again. I have verified that the floppy, keyboard, and all other stuff are connected properly, the ram is seated tightly, etc. As far as I can see, the problem has to be w/ the processor, memory, or cpu. The symptoms would seem to indicated that the motherboard is the problem but I want to be sure so I don't RMA the wrong component! Also, if anyone is familiar w/ the epox 8kha+, the LED's in the corner stop at 50 when the system is hung up which according to the manual is the step where the usb is initialized. Please reply if you have any thoughts or suggestions.

Disclaimer: I have never worked with this setup.
Having said that here goes.........
Get into the BIOS...........disable "Stop on all errors"....
Also somewhere in the BIOS theres usually a "Safe" BIOS setup where
you probably won't get optimal settings but it sets everything up
conservatively in order to bootup..............
Try those first............Greg
