Is this memristor tech? Universal memory

Considering I didn't see any mention of cost to produce, density, or difficulty of production I don't know if I believe it's as feasible as they are trying to say.
 
it sounds like the products initially will be relevant to datacenter (two or 3 tier storage and 2 tier memory?), but eventually will be relevant for consumer. Probably will be higher latency than avg dram. Might still have use for gpu and 2 tier memory.
 
It looks like this will have a cost higher than planar SLC NAND flash, even if it scales down to the same horizontal dimensions. The low switching energy is neat, but without any mention of the time taken to switch (or read), it's impossible to say whether this will have enough performance to be generally useful or if it can only aspire to be used in ultra low power embedded systems.
 
yeah, the info in that article is really lacking. hopefully there will be some more informative update soon.
