Is this Memory a good over-clocker ?

That Memory, from OCZ: http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/m...z_el_ddr_pc_3200_dual_channel_platinum

I can't get something better at the moment. I just had a 35% price cut for a brand new kit, so I couldn't really refuse the offer (it's always good to known someone good enough working in a local PC store isn't it).

According to OCForum.com's List of Chips on Recommended Modules (Sticky thread), that Memory could possibly use four types of Chips, which are: Samsung TCB3, ProMOS 5ns (relabeled), Mosel Vitelic 5ns (relabeled), Winbond CH-5.

That's pretty much all the information I got about that Memory, other than its timings set at 2-3-2-5 by default.

I'm not planning to over-clock the thing to extremes, mind you. If I do over-clock, I might try to reach 218 to 220 FSB (so I can stay at 4800+ speeds). So, nothing big. It might just well reach those basic, low over-clocked speeds I know. But I'd just like to know at which timings is it stable, and what's the FSB at which it's stable when running at specific timings, etc. And, yes, I know each Memory will do a bit differently, even though they'd be the same, but it could just give me an idea in advance.

I'll go get it this morning, I just need to wait the seller's call. It's just a question of time.

So, if you are using that Memory yourself, I'd appreciated to read about your experiences with it and over-clocking. I haven't found a lot of reviews about it (most of the reviews I found were for the Revision 2, and mine isn't Rev.2).

Thanks.
