Hah, yep. You should see what you C2D mobile chips you can pick up off ebay for a few bucks.

If you have an old laptop that is only marginally too slow, these days it is very cheap to upgrade the CPU + a half decent SSD.
 
Yeah its a useless chip. May as well be a pentium 4 2.0GHz. There is no market for it. It is actually overpriced by $17.
 
That's not a bad chip and certainly not 8 year old slow. cpubenchmark.net gives that a 1934. That's comperable to a Intel Core2 Duo T9600 @ 2.80GHz and even ranks higher than my Sandy Bridge B950 @ 2.1GHz.
