Hmmm...well, I got a few emails. It's amazing...when you say you will work for free, people come running to you. There was one opportunity that looks legit. However, a number of them were opportunities where they wanted me to sit down for 8 hours and run test scripts I did not write. What kind of work is that? Bring your son to work and have him do it.

I am not going to argue about searching for a job being full time work. It is a lot of effort to find one, especially with me since I tend to spend a good amount of time tailoring resumes and cover letters. It's a skill I am not good at. That said, I am doing this more as a precaution....to prevent huge gaps on my resume.

As for "asking the unemployment office", I would, but MA has this dumb system where if you want to call, you have to call on certain days based on the last digit of your SS#. I have to wait till Friday to ask.
