Reno 911 rules. It's right on par with Super Troopers. I don't know about where you live, but our cops definitley have quotas. The end of the month is a bad time to be speeding :Q

meh i don't like reno 911 too much... super troopers was cool, because you had cops like rabbit and ram, but in reno 911 they're all half like farva so it's not as funny imo.

i dont know. there are a lot of talented writers/actors in reno that we've seen before. i think thats why i like it more than similiar things. those guys know what they're doing. i dont expect the show to be on too long but...i dont think they expect it to last more than a season.
besides, they're good enough to land another show in a year or so.

No, it's entrapment. The pizza driver would probably still be busted for the speeding tickets but the cops could easily lose their jobs.
In fact, a case somewhat similar to this was just resolved in Tigard, OR. A senior officer had a grudge with a particular private citizen and told a rookie cop that he would give the rookie a free steak dinner if he busted that citizen for DUI. The rookie saw the citizen eating at a local restaurant/bar, waited for the citizen and arrested him for DUI. Unfortunately for the cops, the citizen had not been drinking, and despite every test coming back negative, they held him all night. The cops lost their jobs and the city had to pay out $125k.

Correct. Where the hell did you see this? Reno Cops on comedy central or do you live in Alabama?

well obviously the delivery guy became a terrorist by Department of HomeLand Security regulation the moment his vehicle exceeded legal speed limit under any circumstance thereby losing all his civil rights and liberties.

for example, if you were sitting in your car and a tornado came by and you were flying in the air at 100+ miles per hour, you could get a ticket for speeding, and on top of that flying without a license.
