not really sure what a good letter might be, but it sounds pretty good to me. kind of short but idk if that's normal or not

that's what I mean.. I don't what a good letter is like. I think a good letter is more detailed and personal
 
Depends on the position you are applying for, but if genuine I get the feeling this will serve just fine.
 
LOL. Many businesses have a policy of not even giving recommendations, only confirming dates of service. Be happy you got that much.
